In the seagoing world, Filipino seamen are one of the most sought after employees of may shipping companies around the globe.   As a country with vast waters surrounding the archipelago, it is only natural that some of its citizens have learned to earn their living from the seas.  Not only from harvesting natural resources found within its adjacent waters, but more so professionally employed as seafarers.

There are more than 1 million Filipinos employed as seamen in different parts of the world.  They have worked and are working in different capacities aboard ship.  Most of them consider this as their main income purposely for personal adventure but mostly to support their families.

This site is dedicate to all the Filipino Seamen in the different parts of the world to learn, hone their skills, find suitable trainings and employment and be updated of the current policies related to their jobs.
